The event is part of the FSM primary health insurance provider’s goal to become more proactive in the arena of prevention.
The MiCare walk/run started and ended on the road between Bank of FSM and Palm Terrace. Volunteers who helped stage the event included Jim Tobin from the FSM National Olympic Committee and his staff, Castro Joab, sports and activity coordinator for the College of Micronesia-FSM and some of his staff as well as officers of the Pohnpei State Public Safety.
