Groundbreaking for the rehabilitation of Lelu and Utwe Schools in Kosrae State is tentatively scheduled for this month. The Lelu and Utwe School constructions started on Aug. 7, 2007 and March 19, 2007. Due to some design and construction issues, the projects were suspended on Sept. 8, 2010. A new engineering firm and a new contractor are now retained to complete the two schools in 6 months. The notice to proceed for the rest of the projects will commence shortly.
