(GCA) — The administration, faculty, and parents of Grace Christian Academy would like to congratulate their students who participated in the first face-to-face post-Covid Primary Grade Forensic Competition held on Saturday, Oct, 16, at Mount Carmel School.
In spite of the rain, over 200 young competitors from the different schools on island joined the forensic competition.
GCA’s PGFC coordinator, Ruth Lopez, said the GCA students were excited and eager to participate on this year’s event after a two-year hiatus and virtual competition last year. “We are so proud of our Eagles!” she added. Of the 15 events in which GCA students participated, they received places in nine.
The GCA winners in the K2 division are:
Dramatic Interpretation, Elaina Atalig, 5th place; Readers Forum (F) Solen Camacho, 1st place; Readers’ Forum (Master A), Caleb Shin, 5th place; and Humorous Interpretation, Caleb Shin, 3rd place.
The GCA winners in the 3rd-5th Division are: Dramatic Interpretation, Chloe Hayul Shin, 4th place; Reader’s Forum (Masters A) Chloe Hayul Shin, 2nd place; Humorous Interpretation, Gabrielle Ann Arriola, 1st place; Reader’s Forum (F) Gabrielle Ann Arriola, 1st place; and Declamation (A), En Mei Huang, 4th place.
