HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A 27-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he was pulled from the water in Hagåtña.
On Monday afternoon, Guam Fire Department spokesperson Nick Garrido told local media that rescue units responded to a reported drowning at 5:07 p.m. at the Hagåtña boat basin, behind the dry dock.
GFD personnel were able to retrieve a 27-year-old man, who was unconscious and unresponsive, before initiating CPR and taking the man to Naval Hospital at 5:20 p.m., Garrido added.
