GOVERNOR Ralph DLG Torres has approved a local law appropriating over $200,092 in developers infrastructure tax and $10,000 in casino license fee for Tinian.
Authored by Rep. Patrick San Nicolas, House Local Bill 22-17 is now Tinian Local Law 22-10. It will allot funds for road improvement projects in Marpo Heights 3; the Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority’s Tinian operations; and the Tinian Municipal Council operations.
The expenditure authority shall be the Tinian mayor.
The new local law also amends T.L.L. 22-6, re-appropriating $10,000 of Tinian’s share of the casino license fee paid by Imperial Pacific International in 2019, and T.L.L. 22-9 to provide for a no fiscal limitation of the appropriated funds.
