(PSS) — When the new school years starts this August, 180 middle school students from Hopwood will enter high school.
On June 8, 2021, Hopwood held a promotion ceremony for its eighth graders who chose, as their theme, the following quotation from author Michael Josephson: “Take Pride in How Far You’ve Come, Have Faith in How Far You Can Go, But Don’t Forget to Enjoy the Journey.”
The drive-thru ceremony on campus started at around 10 a.m.
The class valedictorian and Board of Education Academic Achievement Award recipient is Irene Huilin Wang while the salutatorian and recipient of the Commissioner of Education Academic Achievement Award is Jia Ross B. Nicdao.

The Male Athlete of the Year is Luis Rafael Pelisamen while the Female Athlete of the Year is Rizza Uvero Relucio.
