HUGHES Hubbard & Reed attorneys Kevin Abikoff and Samuel Salyer will work with Juan T. Lizama, lawyer for Imperial Pacific International LLC, in lawsuits in federal court involving IPI.
According to the National Law Journal’s 2020 NLJ 500 ranking of firms based on size, Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP has 248 attorneys and is ranked 172nd in the United States. With $288.1 million in gross revenue in 2019, HHR was 116th in The American Lawyer’s 2020 Am Law 200 ranking of law firms.
The HHR attorneys based in New York were recommended by IPI-affiliated investors, Variety learned.
District Court for the NMI Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona has admitted and allowed Abikoff and Salyer to participate with Lizama in seven IPI lawsuits.
A former judge, Lizama represented IPI chairwoman Cui Li Jie in the U.S. Department of Labor and labor violation cases filed against the casino investor.
Lizama is now also representing IPI in the lawsuits filed by Pacific Rim Land Development LLC, Tang’s Corporation, J.M Aguon Professional Services, Sardini Group, Ping Shun Corporation, and Banes Horey Berman & Miller LLC.
Lizama is likewise representing Forson Holdings LLC, IPI’s sister company, in the lawsuit filed by Fox Financial LLC.
