Through facilitating communication and sharing information, the governor’s Infrastructure and Recovery Program identified an efficient approach to the Garapan Revitalization Project, allowing sewerline and roads to make progress by enabling the projects to occur simultaneously and avoiding unnecessary costs for agencies if roads had to be opened up to allow CUC to replace sewerlines after the projects were completed.
For the CUC Garapan sewerline replacement project, a check for $2 million is handed to the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. by the Office of the Governor.
