THE CNMI Women’s Association will host the local Girl Scouts who will sell cookies on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CWA office, Building 1223 on Capitol Hill Dr.
Selling cookies will help the Girl Scouts raise funds for their activities and projects.
Jessy Loomis, who is one of the directors of CWA and an entrepreneur herself, hopes that the community will support the local Girl Scouts.
“We teach the children how to manage and budget their finances by supporting this program and buying their cookies,” she said.
It is important for the girls to learn about entrepreneurship and how to handle money at an early age, she added.
Loomis said each Girl Scout will receive an award for their participation.
“Please visit the CWA building this Saturday and buy cookies from the Girl Scouts,” she added. “Bring your friends and family members!”
