JEM renews monthly gas allowance of community volunteer

JEM Co. Ltd., which operates the CMG San Jose Mobil Gas Station, on Friday renewed the $100 monthly gasoline allowance it provides to community volunteer Max Aguon.

“We will be continuing our monthly donation to alleviate Max’s expenses as he goes around the island to keep the beaches clean,” JEM operator and treasurer Jovita Flores said.

“We provided the same donation to Max last year, and he continues to do a wonderful job — we see him out there, and we support his hard work and his effort to beautify our island.”

Besides the Mobil station in San Jose, JEM also operates the Kagman and Chalan Kiya Mobil stations.

Aguon said he is very grateful for the donation.

“Thank you to JEM and the CMG Mobil Gas station for the gas donation,” he added.

Aguon has received many commendations and awards for his cleanup activities that also help promote environmental awareness in the community.
