Earlier the Koream Air has proposed to engage in aviation operations employing the use of eight aircrafts- Boeing 737-800.
There will be 14 chartered flights by the airline until March.Former President Tommy Remengesau said that the commercial flights operation is for the purpose of transporting passengers on the charter basis between Palau and Korea.“These air services operations will offer immense benefit for both national especially on all aspect of tourism industries.Airport Manager Charles Obichang said the flight touchdown was at 2 a.m.Remengesau earlier said that the flight it is a significant step forward in relations between Palau and Korea and lays the groundwork for creating a new international gateway for travelers coming to Palau and Palauans traveling abroad.
