Koshiba says no formal invite from Remengesau yet

Last week, Koshiba said he will take on the president’s invitation to face him in an attempt to clear issues surrounding the extension of contact of Pacific Savings Bank (PSB) Investigator Lewis Harley and the ongoing investigation on the collapse of the bank.Koshiba said he will be waiting for the president’s formal invitation during the Senate session today.The president said he will also be inviting the PSB receiver, PSB Investigator Lewis Harley.Koshiba in an earlier interview said he will “not just show up” in the press conference but will expect an invitation from the president.Remengesau in his televised press conference last week, invited Koshiba to also be part of the guests during his forthcoming press conference.Koshiba has been questioning Remengesau’s inaction to Harley’s contract extension and review of the investigator’s work.Remengesau however told reporters that he will be renewing Harley’s contract and has expressed satisfaction in the investigator’s work.The president however said that a “review” is normal and was not made out of any hidden agenda on the executive branch’s side.
