The conclusion of the event was celebrated with a small barbeque for the coaches and participants.Two coaches from Taiwan conducted the summer camp with 23 LEEP students attending the camp which was held at the Asahi Baseball Field.Lai and Chang were awarded with certificates and gifts to show appreciation for the hard work of the coaches during the activity.The camp taught the students about baseball and received expertise advice from the coaches.Chang is a scout for the Cincinnati Reds.Vice President Elias Camsek Chin and Taiwan Ambassador Matthew Lee thanked the two coaches and congratulated the students for completing the camp.The students learned from camp the basic rules of baseball, and also practiced the proper techniques for throwing, catching, and hitting the ball.Chin said he believes that the students have the potential to one day play for the major leagues.
