“We are excited about the increasing interest in the upcoming MMAC and we look forward to welcoming more teams to this charity event,” said 2011 MMAC public relations committee chairman Christopher A. Concepcion.
The teams that have confirmed their participation are Ahu, Aschoscho, Bank of Guam/Garapan Elementary School, Bodig, IT&E, Marianas Health Services/GTC Elementary School, Pacific Islands Club, Saipan Health Clinic/St. Jude Renal Care Facility, Take Care/FHP and Tan Holdings/Kagman High School.
“The 2011 MMAC committee is extremely grateful for the commitment these teams are making towards this worthy cause. Their contribution in the fight against cancer is admirable. At the same time, we are calling on all families, corporations, schools, government agencies and non-profit organizations to take part in the largest cancer fundraising event in the Northern Marianas by forming a team. We know that virtually everyone in the CNMI has been touched by cancer in some form or another so please join us for this worthy cause,” said Concepcion.
