14 new US citizens sworn in

FOURTEEN new U.S. citizens were sworn in at a naturalization ceremony at the District Court for the NMI on Monday.

Presiding over the special court session, Senior Judge Alex Munson granted the motion of U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services Officer Patricia Phelan and welcomed the new U.S. citizens to the American family.

The new U.S. citizens are Azenith Madelo Avila, Bryan James Corpuz Balboa, Lucia Topacio Camama, Remedios Delizo Castillo, Adela Pait Dawayen, Angel Bagangan Dawayen, Charles Yongcheng Hu, Andrea Gomez Meneses, Ronaldo Beltran Meneses, Mark Joseph Sombilla Mole, Elvavenus Gamatan, Wilma Quila Pangelinan, Kammala Mudalige Annie Mary Thamel, and Maria Luz Mateo Williams.

A former U.S. Army judge advocate and Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, attorney Joe McDoulett was the guest speaker.
