2011 Ford Fiesta is Tournament of Champions hole-in-one prize

“This is the eighth year that Joeten Motors and the Joeten Charitable Foundation have been a TOC partner,” said Matt Deets, general manager of Joeten Motors.  “We realize the importance of what TOC does for our tourism and are pleased to continue our support.”

Over the last 15 years, TOC has given over $500,000 to the Saipan Beautification Fund which has most recently been used to improve the tree-lined traffic medians in Chalan Piao, Dandan and Susupe.  Funds were also used for the revitalization of the Garapan special district. In addition, TOC also contributed funds for the Paseo de Marianas, and the beautification of the Port to Park pathway. It was recently announced that proceeds from this year’s TOC will assist in the repair of the Mt. Topochau stairways, railings and the leveling of the area

“TOC is grateful to Joeten Motors and the Joeten Charitable Foundation for their commitment to Saipan Beautification Fund,” said Ben Babauta, TOC tournament director. “Their partnership is valued by the committee.”

First place winners in the Men’s Championship, A, B, C, Senior and Super Senior Flights will each receive $600 cash, $500 for second, $400 for third, a digital camera to fourth, and $100 DFS gift certificate for  fifth place. The Ladies Low Gross champion will receive $600, $500 is awarded for second, and $400 for third place.  The Ladies Low Net first through third places all receive a trophy.

Platinum sponsor, Laolao Bay Golf Resort will host the 16th Annual Tournament of Champions on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 6 and 7.
