Her directive also applies to all private schools on the island.
This closure is recommended by the state’s H1N1 Task Force which has determined that patients with flu systems has increased four times within the past two weeks and that medical analysis indicates a three week period for such virus to incubate and die out.
School days lost due to this closure will be made up after the closure to meet the legally required number of school days she said.
All public schools in the neighboring island are not affected by this directive.
