THE Marianas Institute of Filipino Certified Public Accountants inducted its new officers and board of directors at Bravo Kitchen & Bar in Garapan on April 20, 2024.
MIFICPA said its mission is to promote “excellence, integrity, and professionalism among Filipino CPAs and accountants” in the Northern Mariana Islands.
The organization was founded in 1994 and will celebrate its 30th anniversary later this year.
The newly elected officers are Valentino Cruz, president; Maria Cely Monteclaro, internal vice president; Melanie Martin-Galapon, external vice president; Elijah Raphael Cabauatan, secretary; Renelyn Gallos, assistant secretary; Catalina Benedicto, treasurer; Ira Marquez, assistant treasurer; Maria Jenina Vergara, auditor; Edzkestler Doreza, assistant auditor; Alili Cabsaban, public relations officer; and Ronnel Calma, business manager.
The members of the board of directors are Eloisa Manese, Maria Luisa Fernando, Marites Villanueva, Noemi Catigan, Maria Balila, and Marvin Buston.
