The familiar logo of Hyatt Regency Saipan will no longer be seen in the Garapan tourist district. Citing “global shifts and continued challenges impacting Saipan and its tourism sector,” the hotel’s owner, Saipan Portopia Corporation, announced on April 29, 2024 that after 43 years of service, Hyatt Regency Saipan will shut down on June 30, 2024.
