AGO has 2 new lawyers

“I am thrilled to be joining the criminal division of the Attorney General’s Office here on Saipan.  I look forward to getting to know this beautiful island and its people and serving the commonwealth to the best of my abilities,” said Driscoll in an email to Variety.

“I’ve been on island for less than two weeks, but I’m already impressed by how welcoming and friendly everyone has been to me,” said Driscoll, who “loves to travel” and has been to 37 different countries so far.

Assistant Attorney General Eileen Escudero-Wisor also joined the AGO criminal division.

Escudero-Wisor was previously assigned to the Coral Reef Initiative at the AGO.

She was an environmental legal analyst at Wachovia Insurance Services.

She studied at the Vermont Law School, Rutgers and the State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick.

The other attorneys of the criminal division are Chief Prosecutor Michael Ernest, Assistant Attorneys General Peter Prestley, Russel Lorfing, Tiberius Mocanu, Shelli Neal, Escudero and Driscoll.

Senior prosecutor Brian D. Gallagher, and Assistant Attorney General Benjamin Petersburg are resigning.

Driscoll earned her law degree at the University of Iowa College of Law in 2010.

She was licensed to practice law in Iowa in Sept. 2010.

Driscoll completed her bachelor of arts degree in European history in 2001 at the University of Texas.

She acted as volunteer attorney for the Iowa State Public Defender’s Office in Davenport and volunteered at the Southern Louisiana Legal Services in New Orleans, Louisiana.
