Aguon was sentenced to one year imprisonment, all suspended except for three days by Judge Perry Inos.
Aguon signed a plea agreement, admitting the charge of assault and battery.
The court directed him to pay a $100 fine and a $25 court assessment fee.
He will not possess, consume or purchase alcohol during his probationary period.
He will attend and complete anger management counseling at the Community Guidance Center.
He will submit to an alcohol and drug assessment and complete any recommended treatment.
He will also complete 100 hours of community work service.
The prosecution asked the court to dismiss the other charge of disturbing the peace as part of the plea agreement.
On June 18, 2011, Aguon slapped his wife two times after she refused to give him the car keys after the defendant informed her that he wanted to leave their house in Koblerville to get a tattoo.
