Community volunteer Max Aguon points to trash dumped on private property on Nov. 21, 2023.
Community volunteers Max Aguon Felipe Fejeran and Alex Fejeran collected trash at the Chalan Kanoa cemetery on Saturday.
ILLEGAL dumping continues and now encroaches on private property.
“A landowner whose property is near the Chalan Kanoa cemetery showed me last Nov. 21 the garbage dumped on his place, which they recently cleared and cleaned,” community volunteer Max Aguon told Variety on Saturday.
The trash included Styrofoam, plastic flowers and other items, “probably from the recent All Saints Day commemoration,” Aguon said.
He is once again asking the community to comply with the anti-littering law and dispose of their trash properly.
Also on Saturday, Felipe Fejeran, Alex Fejeran and Shamlon Ullu joined Aguon in collecting trash at the Chalan Kanoa cemetery.
Aguon reiterated his appreciation and gratitude to U.S. Congressman Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan, Precinct 2 Rep. John Paul Sablan, DPA Car Mart and San Jose CMG Mobil Gas Station for supporting his voluntary work for the community.
