Alaska band to play at MHS on Monday

MHS teacher John Raulerson said the band will also show its support for the school’s aviation class and its students.

“Our class invited the band and after hearing the time and effort my class and I put into making the class work, they decided to come over and play for the school,” Raulerson added.

After the performance, Raulerson said Alaska Brass will present students with a token of its gratitude from the Anderson Air Force Base on Guam.

Alaska Brass plays f a wide range of genre, including patriotic, jazz and rock songs.

The band members are TSgt John Rider, tuba; SSgt Richard McMaster and SSgt Mark Nixon, trumpets; SSgt Brandon Richard, drums;  SSgt Craig Matta, horn; and SSgt George Father, trombone.
