THREE men robbed a poker arcade in Dandan of $4,000 cash early yesterday morning.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Lt. Pete C. Muna said the suspects, described as possible locals, left the Dandan MGM-I Poker on board a pick up truck.
Muna said the cashier was not injured when he struggled with one of the suspects.
Investigation showed that the three suspects entered MGM-I Poker at 4:18 a.m. and one of them went into the cashier’s booth and grabbed the money.
The cashier approached and tried to stop the suspect from taking the money. During their struggle, the suspect managed to get away.
The three robbers then boarded a pick up truck and headed toward Kannat Tabla area. Due to their hurry, the suspects left behind some bills and rolls of quarters in the establishment, police said.
Last May 27, Ocean Poker in Kagman II was reportedly robbed of undetermined amount of money.
Last May 22, a poker attendant identified as 33-year-old Mostofa Faruk Parves, was murdered by suspected robbers inside Candi’s Poker in Tanapag.
