Armilaine Salamat, also known as Armilaine Legaspi Lizama, former manager of PNB Express Center, and Ana Maria Villadiego Villegas, also known as Anna Marie V. Villegas, and Haydn Villegas, co-owners of Philippine Express Remittance which had ties with PNB Foreign Exchange, a remittance center on Saipan, have pleaded not guilty and were released on bail.
The prosecution said the three conspired with each other by cashing checks with insufficient funds starting in 2004.
The investigation began when some people complained their remittances did not reach the recipients.
Designated Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood will preside over the conference.
