GOVERNOR Juan N. Babauta yesterday signed a proclamation declaring April 21 to 27 as Administrative Professionals Week.
Babauta said administrative professionals are no longer confined to clerical duties but are helpful and beneficial partners of various businesses.
There are approximately 8.9 million people throughout the nation who are working in administrative support roles.
These include office clerks, customer service representative, receptionists and other office staff.
“Effective administrative professionals are valuable, highly essential and hardworking individuals who handle the daily operations of offices across the globe,” the governor said.
