The one-day education fair, which will be held at the Industrial Drive in Tanapag from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., is open to everyone, including civilians and high school seniors who may be interested to take courses at home or work.
Dr. Donna Duellberg, Coast Guard director of education for Region 14and Marsha Wellein, Army Reserve regional director of education for Pacific and Asia will beavailable at the Fair to discuss financial aid, theGI Bill,funding for college online programs and direct instruction, and other issues.
The Veterans Affairs counselor will be also providing assistance and information to veterans, retirees, active duty as well as reserve military personnel, and family members.
Representatives and counselors from the Veterans Affairs Office, Argosy University, Ashford University, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Hawaii Pacific University, Jones International University, Northern Marianas College, Thomas Edison State College, and Wayland Baptist University will be available to answer questions, discuss distance learning options, and various degree plans to include undergraduate and graduate.
Participants may see the representatives from the different agencies from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to discuss issues that concern them.
Many of the counselors who will be available for the one-day education fair will be flying in from Hawaii and the U.S. mainland.
