BEAD Subgrant Portal’s Project Funded Area application now open

THE CNMI Broadband Policy & Development Office is pleased to announce that the BEAD Subgrant Portal’s Project Funded Area or PFA Application is now open and available at bpd.cnmi.gov/beadportal. The PFA Application will remain open for 45 days and will close on May 15, 2025, at 12 noon local time.

Applicants who have successfully completed the registration and qualification process may now submit their PFA Application. The PFA section requires applicants to provide critical project details, including but not limited to:

• Anticipated Upload and Download Speeds

• Latency Measurements

• Projected Financial Costs per Passing

Key reminders

Deadline: All applications must be submitted by May 15, 2025, at 12 noon local time.

Portal Access: Only entities that have completed the registration and qualification process can proceed with their PFA application.

Application Guide: Attached to this email is the BEAD Subgrant Portal Guide, which provides step-by-step instructions on navigating the portal, completing applications, and meeting submission requirements.

Eligible entities, including Internet Service Providers, telecommunications companies, non-profits, and other broadband infrastructure organizations, are encouraged to apply as soon as possible at: bpd.cnmi.gov/beadportal
