Borja: OPA should look into Camacho’s ‘unethical’ political gathering

That event did not portray a system of fairness, the former lt. governor and associate justice said.

Borja said his committee is still getting more information to determine if the gathering warranted an action against the candidacy of Camacho.

“In a democratic system, the fairness of the election process is a requisite,” he said.

Borja at the same time said he is ready for the scheduled debate on Oct. 13 hosted by the Saipan Chamber of Commerce in the Hibiscus Hall of the Fiesta Resort & Spa in Garapan. The event starts at 6 p.m.

The debate, he said, will help voters make a good decision on Election Day, which is on Nov. 2.

Borja said he continues to get positive feedback during his house-to-house visits.
