IN back-to-back sessions late Friday afternoon, the House of Representatives, by a 19-1 vote, and the Senate, by 9-0, passed the bicameral committee’s version of the fiscal year 2012 budget bill amounting to $102 million.
The measure now goes to the governor who has one week to sign it into law. The new fiscal year starts on Oct. 1.
