Bridge Capital LLC donates over $50K to charitable institutions

John K. Baldwin, the company’s principal and CEO, said  it has not been an easy task choosing beneficiaries because a lot of organizations are in need of money for their different projects.

Yesterday’s recipients of checks with varying amounts were the First Lady’s Vision Foundation, the Ben Fitial Foundation, the Santa Soledad Mission Parish in Kagman, the San Jose Church, the American Red Cross, the Dolphin Chapter of the National Honor Society, the Friends of the Arts, Beautify CNMI, NMI Council for Humanities, Crimestoppers, the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, and the Pet and Animal Welfare Services.

For the Karidat Social Services, Bridge Capital donated a Nissan mini-van to be used in its day to day operations. The Karidat staffers thanked  Bridge Capital for “hearing their prayers” because they need vehicles.

Representatives of the Santa Soledad Mission Parish expressed gratitude for the donation.

“We are thankful to Bridge Capital for including us in their list because we need money for our church programs,” a representative said.

PAWS representatives said the donations will go toward rescue operations of stray pets, for shots, vaccinations and care of animals.

Baldwin said it is the company’s first time to donate to the honor society of a CNMI school.

The Dolphin Chapter got a  donation of $2,500.

The first batch of Bridge Capital donations amounting to $12,000 went to the Boy Scouts of America, the Aloha Council, the CNMI Bar Association-AG Cup Speech Competition, the Independents Futbol Club,  Saipan Southern High School-Manta Ray Band Trip, the Xclusive Golf Association and the 20th Police Training Academy.

Baldwin said Bridge Capital is looking forward to fund a special holiday project that will benefit the people of the CNMI.

“We are calling on all organizations to come up with ideas for a holiday project, and we will support it,” Baldwin said.

He said Bridge Capital LLC will be making more donations next year.

“Our company is just so blessed, and making donations to help out others is our way of giving back our blessings,” he said.
