The FSMBA is made up of the station managers running the government radios in the federation and others including the FSM president’s public information office. The items on its agenda will include the review of its bylaws and articles of incorporation and other discussions on the budget for fiscal years 2011 and 2012. The conference will be held for three-days before the FSMBA members return back to their respective home states. FSM Secretary Transportation, Communication and Infrastructure Francis Itimai and other top government officials delivered the opening remarks. A representative of the Department of Resources & Development was on hand to assist the group on matters related to alternative energy. R&D will also identify possible funding sources for the program. An engineer from the Asia Broadcasting Union, Tony Soccio, will present a technical report to the group.
