Businessman sues former wife, local attorneys

Through his attorney Timothy Bellas, plaintiff Byoong Seob Choi named as respondents Jung Ja Kim, his former wife; attorney G. Anthony Long; attorney Ramon Quichocho and his wife Frances; Ok Wha Lee; Eun Mee Jung; Dong Soon Kim; Dong Suk Kim; Jung Eun Jung; Sin Ho Nam; Dan Bi Choi; and 20 Does.

Choi wants a jury trial.

Long was sued for alienation of affection, breach of contract, duty of loyalty, intentional inflection of emotional distress, and malpractice.

The other defendants were sued for fraudulent conveyance of property.

Choi sued his former wife for mismanagement and/or dissipation of marital assets, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and fraud.

Attorney William Fitzgerald, who is representing Long, told the Variety that the complaint has “no legal basis.”

He added that Long “never violated his duty of loyalty to his client.”

The Quichochos have yet to issue a statement on the matter.

According to the complaint, Long represented Choi in the divorce action the plaintiff filed against his former wife in 2004, and subsequent dividing of their marital estate.
