PUBLIC Safety Commissioner Edward Camacho assured the public that the authorities are investigating the recent spate of crimes on Saipan.
Camacho said several individuals had confessed their involvement in some of these crimes.
“We are handling it the best way we can. We are doing the right thing,” Camacho told the Variety.
Camacho met with Gov. Juan N. Babauta and Cabinet officials on Thursday to present his department’s strategy and goals in handling public safety and security.
A businessman was recently murdered in San Antonio, and several poker arcades had been robbed. Camacho said they were encountering some difficulties regarding some cases. He appealed to the public to help DPS solve crimes.
