Pierce is a long-time commonwealth businessman, a former special assistant to four governors, and the former executive director of the Saipan Garment Manufacturers Association. He also served on the chamber’s board of directors from 1996 to 1998 and as the board president from 1999 to 2001. Pierce continues to have ownership interests in Safety 1st Systems CNMI and Gold’s Gym. He has extensive experience representing private-sector interests before the local and federal governments and in-depth familiarity with local and federal legislative and regulatory processes.
