(CHCC) — The Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation is honored to be selected as a recipient of the Bloomberg American Health Initiative Network of Practice Grant, awarded by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
These grants are designed to support innovative, community-based projects that address critical public health challenges and promote health equity in communities across the nation.
With this support, CHCC Public Health Services will launch a produce prescription program on Saipan. This program aims to improve community health by allowing healthcare providers to prescribe not only medications but also fresh fruits and vegetables to patients. The initiative is designed to support healthier lifestyles and improve long-term health outcomes by addressing diet-related chronic conditions.
