Sonia Siwa of PDM Promoters Inc. said the judging of the Christmas trees will be done tomorrow.
This year’s judges are first lady Josie Fitial, Jerry Tan of Tan Holdings, Marian Aldan-Pierce of DFS Galleria, James Nelson of Docomo, Gordon Marciano of PDI, Tina Palacios of Sorensen Media Group, Martin Duenas of the Marianas Visitors Authority, Lisa Eller and Joe Kaipat of the Division of Environment Quality, and Ruel Villacrusis of RNV Construction.
This year’s participants are Tanapag Elementary School, Saipan Community School, Koblerville Elementary School, Dandan Elementary School, Garapan Elementary School, Agape Christian School, San Vicente Elementary School, William S. Reyes Elementary School, Golden Harvest International School, Oleai Elementary School, Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School, Kagman Elementary School, Joshua Generation International Academy, San Antonio Elementary School, Green Meadow School and Grace Christian Academy.
Siwa said tomorrow’s event will start at 5:30 p.m. with special presentations from the Saipan Awaodori team, to be followed by the introduction of judges. The huge Christmas tree at the Paseo de Marianas will be lighted following a countdown.
The traditional tie-a-ribbon campaign will also be launched to allow members of the public write their wishes and put them on the PDM Christmas tree.
