Mt. Carmel Church received $1,383; Kristo Rai, $1,273; San Vicente, $554; San Jude, $406; San Jose, $286; Santa Soledad, $252; and San Roque, $251.
The church said it will continue to receive monetary donations from those who want to extend assistance to the Haiti victims.
Parishioners can donate through the second cash collections at the churches during Mass.
For its part, the local chapter of the American Red Cross said it is continuously working with government agencies as well as other non-profit organizations in collecting donations for Haiti.
Local chapter executive director John Hirsh said their office near the Saipan airport is open for those interested in donating.
“We will assist them in getting their donations to the victims,” he added.
