Copper wire theft

On Monday, Sept. 20, at about 10 a.m., Commonwealth Utilities Corp. employees discovered that the drop line connected to the water well was missing. The drop line was cut from the telephone pole and stolen.

It is estimated that the length of the copper wire is to be from 160 to 180 feet. The estimated value of the stolen copper wire drop line is over $1,500.
