Costa Rica is the new ‘Country of World Peace’

GLOBAL Country of World Peace has found a new site for its “peace capital”—in Costa Rica.

A month ago Global Country officials left the CNMI following an unsuccessful attempt to establish its peace capital on Rota.

Yesterday, Global Country informed Variety that its “New Country of Peace” will be established during a “special full-moon king’s coronation ceremony” that will be attended by about 800 representative of the native Bribri people of Costa Rica.

The “birth of a new nation founded upon natural law” will be called the “Rica Shanti Rashtra” or Rica Country of Peace, which will be located in the Talamanca mountains near the Costa Rican capital of San Jose.

The Bribri people will witness the installation of their chosen representative, Epe De Awapa Lisandro as “king—a position that has been vacant for more than 90 years.”

According to Global Country, the constitution of the Central American nation provides for the autonomous rule of the native Costa Ricans who withdrew to the mountain interior of Talamanca 500 years ago “in response to the decimation of their culture by Spanish invaders.”

Today, there are about 11,500 Bribri citizens inhabiting the vast mountainous region of nearly 47,000 hectares, Global Country said.

Following Epe De Awapa Lisandro’s coronation, the king’s “first royal decree” will be to establish a governing body consisting of eight principal ministers chosen from the “Awapas” or tribal elders, Global Country said.

The second decree will be to declare a “relationship of brotherhood” with the Global Country of World Peace, “which has pledged its organizational and economic support to the new nation.”

Last April, Rota officials turned down Global Country’s offer to turn their island into the “peace capital of the world.”

Global Country promised to pour “billions of dollars” into Rota provided the island secede from the CNMI.
