Abal, on several occasions, has admitted using controlled substance, according to the petition to revoke supervised release filed by the Federal Probation Office.
The most recent were on Jan. 15, 2011 when Abal tested positive for methamphetamine and opiates during a drug test, and on Feb. 6, 2011, when he admitted smoking “ice,” according to the report submitted to the federal court.
Abal also digested prescription medicines for his mother. It is illegal to take another person’s prescription medicine.
Abal said he had pain in his foot so he took his mother’s prescribed medicine.
Abal tested negative for methamphetamine but yielded positive for codeine and morphine, the report stated.
Abal has also been drinking beer, the report added.
On Oct. 26, 2005, Abal was sentenced to 20 months imprisonment in federal prison followed by five years of supervised release for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
