THE Commonwealth Ports Authority’s board of directors is considering former Revenue and Taxation Director Esther Ada for the executive director’s position, Variety learned.
During a special board meeting on Wednesday last week, the board discussed the executive director’s position vacated by Leo B. Tudela, who resigned in December.
Besides Ada, the two other applicants for the position are former Senate President Edith Deleon Guerrero and former Department of Public Lands Secretary Maryann C. Teregeyo.
Variety was told that the board is considering Ada because she has both the required relevant bachelor’s degree and adequate amount of experience in a managerial position.
Ada currently works as Duty Free Shopper’s human resource director.
The CPA board will make a final decision in its next regular meeting later this month.
