THE Commonwealth Ports Authority board of directors on Monday granted CPA employees administrative leave for Thanksgiving on Wednesday and Friday.
In a memorandum to CPA employees, Board Chair Ramon A. Tebuteb said, “As we enter the season of gratitude, we acknowledge you and your family’s many sacrifices, dedication and hard work to CPA. I hereby grant administrative [leave] on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024 at 1 p.m., and on Black Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, for all non-essential employees.”
For employees on shift, “administrative leave may be taken during the pay period ending 07-25, provided operations are not hampered,” he said.
“On behalf of the board of directors, we wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving,” Tebuteb said.
Gov. Arnold I. Palacios issued a similar memorandum on Monday, granting executive branch employees administrative leave for Friday, Nov. 29, 2024.
