An islandwide search was conducted for a couple of weeks but he was never found.
Dela Cruz was last seen at about 3 a.m., on Sept. 30, 2000. He was wearing black colored Levis-pants, a white polo shirt with black print, and a red baseball cap with the Chicago Bulls logo printed on it.
Dela Cruz is described as being 5’2” tall, 104 lbs., and was 79 years old at the time he was reported missing.
The Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigative Bureau and Crime Stoppers are seeking help from the community.
