Irene N. Tantiado, United Workers Movement, NMI president, said the Crime Stoppers program will give a $1,000 reward to anyone who can lead the authorities to Matubis’s current location.
Tantiado said Crime Stoppers president Jim Arenovski informed her about the program’s effort to help find Matubis.
“We need everybody’s cooperation to help find Matubis,” Tantiado said.
On Saturday, the Marianas Association of Filipino Engineers and Architects held a fundraising campaign for Matubis’ wife Malou Matubis, who was here early this month to seek assistance from the CNMI government.
Bong de Guzman, MAFEA president, handed to Mrs. Matubis the $389 collected during the group’s induction ceremony on Saturday.
A draftsman, Mr. Matubis is a MAFEA member.
Tantiado said her group will also conduct a fundraising activity to support Mr. Matubis’ two children who are studying in the Philippines.
“The fund that we raised last night will be sent to support the children,” Tantiado said.
Mrs. Matubis asked the MAFEA members to help her find her husband.
