CROWNE Plaza Resort Saipan Banquet & Events Director Das Krishnan on Friday received the Seven Seals Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Guam-CNMI Committee “for meritorious leadership and initiative in support of the men and women who serve America in the National Guard and Reserve.”

ESGR National Chair John T. Sampa and State Chair Cathy Gogue gave the accolade to Krishnan during the “Lunch with the Boss” event at Crowne Plaza Resort & Spa’s Hibiscus Hall.

Gogue said the Seven Seals Award is “the broadest and most inclusive award given by ESGR and is presented at the discretion of the state chair or by ESGR senior leadership. It is presented in recognition of organizational achievement, initiative or support that promotes and supports ESGR mission, to include the efforts of more than 2,300 volunteers who carry out ESGR’s mission across the nation on a daily basis.”

Sampa and former Guam Lt. Gov. Michael Cruz, the adjutant general of Guam’s National Guard, were the “Lunch with the Boss” guest speakers.

The ESGR committee also handed the Patriot Award to six individuals for the support they provided to their employees serving in the National Guard or Reserve.
