According to CUC, the backup generator of CPA failed to produce power for the ports authority.
CPA is under Feeder 2.
From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. the entire grid of Feeder 2 was turned off, affecting Puerto Rico, Garapan, Kristo Rai Church south to San Jose intersection.
Kiya 2: 2nd Partial was taken offline between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. This affected the power service in Koblerville, As Gonno, San Antonio, and Afetnas.
Feeder 4: 2nd Partial was taken offline from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., affecting Capital Hill, As Teo, Kagman, and portions of Papago.
The 2nd and 3rd Partials of Feeder 1 were taken offline from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., affecting 99 Cents Store, portions of Garapan, Upper Navy Hill, and Anaks condominiums.
There was no power for the entire grid of Feeder 7 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., as scheduled.
The power outage for Kiya 4: 2nd Partial began at 6 p.m. and ended at 8 p.m. The field facility covers Susupe, Mount Carmel, south to portions of Chalan Kanoa and Chalan Kiya.
CUC said the 1st Partial in each of the feeders and kiyas may have been included in the load shedding schedule in situations where the 2nd Partial was insufficient to meet the power demand.
CUC said other emergencies in the field and at the power plants contributed to the change in the schedule.
