The lawmaker who is still recovering from his medical treatment thanked those who offered him and his family their prayers, thoughts and support during his medical ordeal.
“I am humbled by the support and prayers given to me and my family during the past few weeks,” Deleon Guerrero said in a statement to the media. “I also want to thank my constituents for their patience and understanding during my absence.”
He said he is ready to resume his responsibilities as the House member for Saipan’s Precinct 5 or the Kagman area.
The freshman lawmaker underwent a brain surgery at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang, south of Manila, on Feb. 22.
A related surgery was also performed on him later on to ease the pain in his jaw area.
