Doctolero gets 30 days for theft

Superior Court Associate Judge Perry B. Inos on Wednesday sentenced Doctolero, 41, to five years imprisonment all suspended except for 30 days.

Doctolero has already served 22 days at the Department of Corrections facility.

Doctolero pleaded guilty to the theft of $4,078.76 which belonged to  his employer  Jong Myung Kim, owner of M&H Corp.

Inos placed Doctolero on probation for the remainder of his suspended sentence.

The court prohibited Doctolero from departing the CNMI until restitution is fully paid. He also has to perform 100 hours of community work service.

Aside from writing a letter of apology to his victim, Doctolero is required to undergo counseling at the Community Guidance  Center and abide by any recommended course of treatment.

Assistant Attorney General Eli Golob represented the government while Assistant Public Defender Michael Brown was Doctolero’s counsel.
