It was the biggest load of donations that the young cancer survivor had brought here since he started donating books and toys to the youth and children of the CNMI three years ago.
Guerrero thanked Reach Out Pacific president, Hawaii state Sen. Glenn Wakai, for his continuous partnership.
The latest donations include office tables, chairs, bookshelves, study tables, hospital examining tables and IV poles. These came from different government offices in Hawaii, and some are from hospitals including Shriner’s in Honolulu.
Guerrero plans to donate them to youth centers, NMC, the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library and the Rota Public Library.
He said in times of economic crisis, a lot of people on island are in dire need of things. He urged the youth not to lose hope because there’s always something better coming for them if they work hard for it.
Guerrero also asked the community to make good use of the furniture. He adds, this is a good timing because summer is just around the corner and I want the kids to have a center to enjoy.
“I wish them to help me help them by taking care of these things,” he said referring to the donations.
Sen. Juan M. Ayuyu, Ind-Rota, in a telephone interview said he is “most appreciative of Angelray and his parents.” He thanked Guerrero for continuously showing his support to the youth including those on Rota.
Guerrero thanked Matson for waiving the container fee, Saipan Shipping and Saipan Stevedore for waiving the handling fee, Customs, Quarantine and Commonwealth Ports Authority for waiving the wharf fee, and Fast Moving for waiving the storage and moving fee.
